AHES Prize

Every two years AHES awards a prize to promote excellence in research by Australasian health economists. Members are encouraged to nominate papers that meet the eligibility criteria which are:

  • published in a journal in 2017 or 2018, and
  • with at least 50% of authors with Australian or New Zealand affiliation.

All eligible papers that are published in the Journals "Health Economics" and the "Journal of Health Economics" in 2017 and 2018 are automatically considered for the prize.  Papers can be nominated by the authors or by other AHES members on behalf of the authors.

The winner will be announced and awarded at the 41st Annual AHES conference to be held on 24 - 25 September 2019 at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne.
