The Macquarie University Centre for the Health Economy (MUCHE) will run a webinar on 14th September 2022 on the recent changes in the assessment of medicines at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England) and the relevance to Australia.

Speakers from NICE (Ian Watson, Lorna Dunning and Zoe Garrett) will discuss the changes in the assessment of medicines at NICE and international collaboration between health technology assessment agencies, and speakers from Australia (Martin Hoyle and Kirsten Howard) will discuss the relevance to Australia.

This is timely given NICE have recently changed some of their methods of assessment and given the forthcoming review of health technology assessment in Australia.

This webinar will interest those involved in the assessment of health technologies in Australia and the UK, from academia, consultancy, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
